1.How much does registration cost?

Registration is free. Just click on “register” on the left-hand side of the Web page. Fill in your information and submit the form. Register your family members and friends too.

2. I've registered for the walk. Now what?

Visit our FAQ-Walk Center page for tips on using your Walk Center to send e-mails to donors, personalize your Web page and more.

3. Do I have to fundraise?

We don't require that you fundraise, but we encourage it.  Money raised will help fund research and advocacy to support people living with psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis.  Use the information above and your Walk Center to find great tips on how to make fundraising easy. Anyone who raises at least $100 will receive a Walk T-shirt. Raise more than that and you could qualify for a variety of great prizes including a DriFit shirt, picnic backpack, digital photo frame, GPS system and much more!

4.How do I qualify to enter the drawing to win a trip to Blue Lagoon?

For every $500 you raise, you will be entered into a drawing to win the trip.  To learn more about the prize visit this Web page.

5.  How do I collect donations?

The easiest way for donors to support you is by visiting your personal Web page to donate online using a credit card.  Donations are also accepted by cash or check. Have them make checks payable to the National Psoriasis Foundation and make sure that they note your name and walk city in the memo area. Visit our FAQ-Walk Center page for tips on how to add the gifts you receive by check or cash to your personal page.

6. What if I'm not able to mail in donations prior to the walk?

No problem. Just bring the donations with you and turn them in at registration. Make sure that all checks contain your name in the memo area and that they are made out to the National Psoriasis Foundation.

7. Can my company match donations that I collect?

Many companies will match charitable contributions made or collected by employees. Visit our matching gift search to find out more information about your company's policy and be sure to ask at your place of work.  Also, remember to send in your matching gift form with the donations collected.

8. Are kids of all ages welcome at the walk?

Yes! These walks are noncompetitive, family events.  Please bring your children, brothers and sisters, parents, and grandparents. Walks feature both a 1k and 5k events, so people of all levels can participate. We also provide entertainment (and chairs) for anyone who wants to stay near the staging area during the walk. Check your city's walk page for more details on entertainment and special programs for kids.

9.  Can I bring my dog?

You may be allowed to bring your leashed dog, but please check your city's walk page to confirm any restrictions.

10. Will food be available?

Yes.  We provide light breakfast items that vary depending on your walk, but likely include coffee, fruit, bagels and granola bars.  Check your city's walk page to find out more.

11. What happens if there is inclement weather on the day of the walk?

We'll be there rain or shine.

12. What if there isn't a walk nearby, but I still want to participate?

Visit our virtual walk link and register as a team captain.  Encourage your friends and family to register (it's free) on your “team”. Once you've registered, you can fundraise and use our Walk Center as if you are attending an actual walk. You'll receive a T-shirt if you raise at least $100 and qualify for incentive prizes. If you'd like, plan a date when you and your team can get together to take a walk in the park or meet for lunch to celebrate your fundraising success.

13. I'd like to have a walk in my city.  What can I do?

We are always looking for new cities to host a walk. Each event is planned by a local volunteer committee with support from Psoriasis Foundation staff.  If you'd like to be a part of a planning committee, e-mail walk@psoriasis.org and we will provide you with more information.

14.  What should I do if I have any questions that weren't answered here?
