The National Psoriasis Foundation is pleased to announce a design competition for the 2010/2011 Walk to Cure Psoriasis T-shirt. Do you have creative ideas for a T-shirt design for Walk to Cure Psoriasis? Download the contest entry form and send us your design. If your design is the "People’s Choice," it will be worn nationwide by thousands of walkers.

The first-place winner will receive recognition through e-mails, at walks, on the Foundation Web site and through a press release. The winner will also receive 10 complimentary adult-size T-shirts. The second-place design will be posted online. Both the first and second place winners will receive a note of congratulations from the National Psoriasis Foundation.

Design entry deadline: By 5 p.m. PST on Thursday, April 1, 2010 by end of day (West Coast time). The final decision for winning submission will be made by a volunteer task team.

Art contest criteria
1. Design competition is open to anybody 18 years of age and older
2. The shirt design should be something all walkers would want to wear.
3. Please do not include the Walk to Cure Psoriasis logo on the submission. It will be added to the winning design after the contest.
4. Designs must be digital. Preferred digital format: Adobe Illustrator (.ai) or (.eps). Other acceptable digital formats: .jpg, .tif and .pdf. Digital images should be submitted in high resolution (300 dpi or greater). Contest submissions 10 megs or larger must be saved to a disc and mailed to the National Psoriasis Foundation. 5. Artwork must be in solid color and not to exceed 4 colors, must include navy blue. Design will appear on a white T-shirt. As you create your design please keep in mind the Walk to Cure Psoriasis logo will be added to your art.
6. Entries must be submitted in actual design, colors and size.
7. Design should be drawn to size or appropriate scale to fit on the front of a short sleeve adult T-shirt. The design can only be on the front of the shirt and should not cover the sleeves or seams.
8. All artwork must be entirely original. Any use of copyrighted material or trademarked imagery is not allowed. By submitting your design you represent and warrant it is wholly original, does not incorporate or include any material that would require the consent of any third party; and does not violate any copyright, trademark, publicity right, privacy right, or any other right of any third party.
9. The National Psoriasis Foundation reserves the right to edit, composite, scan, duplicate, or alter the Submission for any purpose it deems necessary or desirable, without the need for compensation, and/or permission. Entrants irrevocably waive any/all moral and legal rights to any submission. Do not sign your name on the front of the design. Place your name, address and phone number on the back of the design.

Liabilities: All artwork will be handled with the utmost care. The National Psoriasis Foundation will not be responsible for damage or loss to any work submitted.

Conditions: The winning artist agrees to transfer all rights to reproduction of the image for possible uses: imprinted T-shirts. Other additional rights include the right to use images to promote the event through advertising in newspapers, magazines, flyers, posters and the Web. All artists submitting artwork hereby agree to the liability clause and conditions set forth in this document. Designs may be modified to fit the Foundation’s style guidelines.
