Blue Lagoon Spa 2009 contest rules:
1. The contest is open to the general public. Identification must be provided on request. Employees and board members of the National Psoriasis Foundation and contest sponsors are excluded from this contest.
2. The prize is not redeemable in cash and must be accepted as awarded.
3. Decisions of the contest judges are final-no substitutions will be available.
4. By claiming the prize, the winner authorizes the use, without additional compensation, of his or her name and/or likeness and/or voice/photograph and municipality of residence for promotion and/or advertising purposes in any manner and in any medium (including without limitation, radio broadcasts, newspapers and other publications and in television or film releases, slides, videotape, distribution over the Internet and picture data storage) which the National Psoriasis Foundation may deem appropriate.
5. In accepting the prize, the winner, and any guest, acknowledges that the National Psoriasis Foundation may not be held liable for any loss, damages or injury associated with accepting or using this prize.
6. The person whose name is drawn as being the winner of the specific prize will be required to notify the National Psoriasis Foundation within 30 days if they are transferring the prize to a different individual.
7. Winners are responsible for all federal, state and local taxes as applicable.
8. The National Psoriasis Foundation retains the rights, in its absolute and sole discretion, to make substitutions of equivalent kind or approximate value in the event of the unavailability of any prize or component of the prize for any reason whatsoever.
9. The National Psoriasis Foundation reserves the right to withdraw or terminate this contest at any time without prior notice.
10. Approximate value of the prize is determined by the sponsor(s).
11. TERMS/CONDITIONS: Round trip economy-class travel on Icelandair to Reykjavik, Iceland. Departures can be from Boston, Mass.; Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minn; New York (JFK) New York; Orlando Sanford, Fla.; Halifax Nova Scotia, Canada; or Toronto, Ontario Canada. Travel is not permitted between May 20th and September 5th and also between December 15th and January 5th; Travel must by completed by within one year from end of contest/sweepstake. Reservations cannot be made more than sixty (60) days prior to departure date. All travel must originate in North America and complimentary travel must be on Icelandair only. Winner and travel companion must travel on the same itinerary and possess all required travel documents and identification (including, without limitation, visas and a valid passport, if applicable). Travel on specific days/times is subject to availability at the time of reservations and will not accumulate points in Icelandair’s Customer Club program for frequent travelers. Once tickets have been issued, a change fee of $200 per person will apply for each re-issuance of your tickets. A travel agent may not be used in booking flight arrangements, and reservations must not be made via Icelandair’s Internet site. Seat reservations will be assigned at airport check-in. Please allow three weeks for processing. Transportation to and from the winner’s house to Icelandair gateway city airport will not be provided as part of the overall travel package. The Grand Prize tickets certificate have no cash value, is non-assignable, non-transferable, non-negotiable, and cannot be extended, sold or redeemed for cash or other services not described in this letter. Actual value of the trip varies based on point of departure. All meals gratuities, transfers, fuel surcharges, process fee and taxes (including government taxes, Passenger Facility Charge or 9/11 Security Fee) and other expenses not specified herein are the sole responsibility of the winner and his/her travel companion. The winner's travel companion must be eighteen (18) years of age or older. All tickets/tours are subject to the vagaries of flight variation, work stoppages, and schedule or route changes and substitutions. In the event a trip winner or his or her guest engages during the trip in inappropriate behavior that (as determined by Sponsor in Sponsor's sole discretion) is threatening, illegal or harassing, Sponsor reserves the right to terminate the trip early, in whole or in part, and send the winner and/or his or her guest home with no further compensation.
12. Offer is valid for one year from drawing.
13. One entry into the drawing will be earned for every $500 you raise. All monies must be collected and submitted to the Foundation before the drawing. Two drawings will be held in 2009 on June 15 and November 10. For the Virtual Walk, once a participant has raised $500, his/her name will be entered into the next available drawing.
