Medical teams

Over the past four years, thousands of participants in the National Psoriasis Foundation Walk to Cure Psoriasis have been pounding the pavement to reach out to people living with psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis. Their message: You are not alone and you, too, can help find a cure for these diseases.

Since we kicked off our walk program in 2006, nearly 8,000 people have stepped up to find a cure. This program relies on help from medical providers to get the word out to patients affected by psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis.

Walk with your Doc is an effective way to reach out to the psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis community by involving more people affected by psoriasis. People who are invited to the walk by their doctors and who know their doctors will join in – are more likely to participate. They’re motivated to raise money to fund research to find a cure, and appreciate having their doctors there to support their efforts.
